Hainan Free Trade Port, as a new highland for China to deepen reform and opening up, is the intersection of international and domestic dual circulation, and is the bridgehead for opening up Southeast Asia. The First Hainan International Tropical Food Supply Chain Expo ( “HIFCE”), co-hosted by China Food Industry Association, China Cuisine Association, Hainan Food Production and Distribution Association, and Haishihui Exhibition Group (Hainan) Co. Ltd., will be held in Haikou, Hainan from October 12 to 15, 2023. Based on the principles of “integrity and innovation, keeping up with the times, international perspective, and continuous improvement”, and with two “headquarters” bases in Hainan, HIFCE will strengthen the interconnection and mutual sharing between Southeast Asia and domestic markets. It will further promote the expansion of market opening space and deepen industrial integration and symbiosis in Hainan Free Trade Port. As the world’s first window for global high-quality food trade and the first exhibition platform for new products & technology to focus on the tropical food supply chain, integrating tropical food resources from Southeast Asian, relying on the zero tariff policy advantages of Hainan Free Trade Port to introduce and go global, HIFCE will create four major characteristic exhibition halls, 18 major exhibition areas, international exhibitors gathering, tens of thousands of exhibits, and 200000 professional visitors. At the same time, more than 20 international high-end forums and events will be held on site, comprehensively establishing a global tropical food trading center and a bridgehead for food distribution, and building a one-stop professional service platform for international and domestic exhibitors and buyers to exchange information, gather resources, display and trade.
