The first HIFCE will be supported by the Hainan Provincial Department of Commerce, the Hainan Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, the Hainan Provincial Committee of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and the China Fisheries Association. It will be jointly hosted by the China Food Industry Association, the China Cuisine Association, the Hainan Food Production and Distribution Association, and the Haishihui Exhibition Group (Hainan) Co., Ltd. This will be an annual trade event for the ingredient industry in Hainan and even globally.

On August 22, 2023, the first Hainan International Tropical Food Supply Chain Expo (hereinafter referred to as the HIFCE) press conference was grandly held at the Junhua Haiyi Hotel. Lin Chunhong, Vice Chairman of the Hainan Provincial Committee of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Pan Wushan, Deputy Director of the Exhibition Department of the Hainan Provincial Department of Commerce, Feng Xi, Deputy Director of the Consumer Goods Industry Department of the Hainan Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, Deng Li, Vice President of the China Cuisine Association, Bian Lei, Director of the Exhibition Department of the China Food Industry Association, and Tang Jiechun, Executive Vice President and Secretary General of the Hainan Food Production and Distribution Association, attended the press conference and delivered speeches, Xu Yachuan, former first level inspector of Hainan Provincial Food and Drug Administration and president of Hainan Catering Service Management Association, presided over the press conference.

The first Hainan International Tropical Food Supply Chain Expo (hereinafter referred to as "HIFCE") will be held from October 12th to 15th at the Hainan International Convention and Exhibition Center. As a key provincial-level exhibition project developed by the Hainan Provincial Government, HIFCE takes it as its responsibility to jointly build the world's largest food ingredient free trade platform.
