On October 12-15, 2023, the first Hainan International Tropical Food Supply Chain Expo (hereinafter referred to as HIFCE) will be officially held at Hall 1/2/3/4 of the Haikou Hainan International Convention and Exhibition Center. The first HIFCE will be supported by the Hainan Provincial Department of Commerce, the Hainan Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, the Hainan Provincial Committee of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and the China Fisheries Association. It will be jointly hosted by the China Food Industry Association, the China Cuisine Association, the Hainan Food Production and Distribution Association, and the Haishihui Exhibition Group (Hainan) Co., Ltd. This will be an annual trade event for the ingredient industry in Hainan and even globally.

Character Introduction
Long Yongtu graduated from the Department of English and American Literature at Guizhou University in July 1965 and was later assigned to work at the Beijing Foreign Trade Commission. In 1973, he went to the London School of Economics and Political Science in the UK to study international economics. From 1978 to 1980, he served as a diplomat at the Permanent Mission of China to the United Nations, and later at the United Nations Development Programme. In 1986, he was transferred back to China and successively served as the Deputy Director of the China International Economic and Technological Exchange Center and the Director of the International Liaison Department of the Ministry of Economic and Trade. In 1993, he was transferred to the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation. From 2002 to early 2003, he served as a member of the Party Group and Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation. From January 2003 to April 2010, he served as the Secretary General of the Boao Forum for Asia. Current Co Chairman of the Global CEO Development Conference, Chairman of the China and Globalization Think Tank (CCG), and Advisor to the China Association for Trade in Services.
